Materials & Finishes

Materials.

We do not specify a finish and hand it to a contractor. Every surface below is set out by us and fabricated by specialist partners to the engineers who drew it.

Bespoke mosaic-lined spa vessel under build, showing tile set-out, stainless jets, glass panel and teak seat

01

Signature finish

Glass mosaic

20 mm tesserae · ±1 mm set-out

Our signature finish. Laid to a set-out drawn before the vessel is built, so every step nose, radius and waterline course lands on a whole tile. Joints are held to a single grout width across the entire pool.

Riverian composite monocoque deck spa installed on a private motor yacht

02

Composite monocoque

Single-piece hull · zero cold joints

Deck spas are laid up as one continuous shell. No seams to fatigue under a vessel's working movement, and light enough to be craned into position in a single lift.

Bespoke mosaic-lined pool render set into a stone terrace with integrated steps and clear water

03

Marine stainless

316L · ground and polished to specification

Jets, nozzles, weir details and structural retention are made from 316L and finished by hand. Every weld is ground back until the joint disappears into the surface.

Riverian hydrotherapy spa set into a stone-clad monolith with concealed services

04

Stone and mosaic monoliths

Concealed skimmers · flush thresholds

Hydrotherapy vessels are set into stone so the water reads as part of the floor plate. Skimmers, overflow and services route out of sight beneath the threshold.

Timber sauna and deck spa alongside a Riverian marine pool installation

05

Timber and teak

Deck-matched · marine-grade fixings

Where a spa meets a deck or a sauna, the timber line is matched to the host surface and detailed to move with it — no proud edges, no exposed fixings.

Structural laminated glass wake wall on a Riverian marine pool

06

Structural glass

Laminated · Class approved · proof-tested

Wake walls and viewing panels are engineered to Class approval and proof-tested before shipping, retained in bespoke stainless detail rather than visible framing.

Tolerances

What we hold, and why it matters

Mosaic set-out

Grout lines read as a single line, not a drift.

±1 mm across a run
Waterline level

An overflow edge is only invisible when it is level.

±2 mm across the vessel
Stainless welds

No weld should be findable by hand.

Ground and polished, 100% visual
Composite finish

Gel coat cured under controlled conditions, not on site.

Flatted and polished to specification
Plant noise

Achieved by mounting and routing, not by insulation alone.
